Hello, everyone! Welcome back to Silver and Sensational.

I'm happy to see you 🤍

The Move to France

For those familiar with my YouTube channel, this comes as no surprise, but I thought it prudent to share with you here about my decision to move from LA to France. For as many reasons as there are for why I want to move, there are challenges I am experiencing in trying to get there.

It's been quite the adventure, with its fair share of ups and downs. You know the feeling—taking three steps forward only to take four steps back? That's been the story lately. The challenges aren't coming from across the ocean but from right here at home, where I'm trying to get my affairs in order, like finding someone to auction my furniture. It's complicated, but I'm making progress and will share more as things fall into place.

Working with an agent in France has been incredibly helpful. She's an American woman who moved there 30 years ago and has since specialized in helping expats like me. Her expertise is invaluable. She offers webinars and has guest speakers covering every topic you can imagine—taxes, insurance, you name it. Her guidance makes the process smoother, even when it feels like I’m swimming upstream.

The Emotional Journey

Making the decision to move to France has been a deeply emotional process for me. It's a huge step, and naturally, it comes with its own set of fears. But it’s also an exciting opportunity to embrace a new chapter in life, filled with endless possibilities and new adventures.

Moving to France has been a dream of mine for a long time. The idea of starting fresh in a beautiful new place is exhilarating. But it's also daunting, as any big life change can be. It's all about balancing the excitement with the reality of the challenges.

The toughest part so far has been the logistics—selling furniture, dealing with paperwork, and coordinating everything from a distance. But having the right support system, like my agent in France, has made a huge difference. Her experience and guidance have been invaluable in navigating this process.

Bon voyage, eventually!

Embracing New Adventures

Both my move to France and my experiences underscore a crucial point: Life is about embracing new adventures, facing our fears, and continuously growing. Whether it’s moving to a new country or sharing my experiences with all of you, these moments enrich our lives and broaden our horizons.

So, my dear friends, I encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and embrace whatever new challenges come your way. It’s never too late to try something new, to chase a dream, or to start a new chapter. And remember, every step, no matter how small, brings you closer to your goals.

Thank you for joining me today. If you're interested in learning a little more about my journey to France, I suggest watching this episode on the Silver and Sensational YouTube channel, and I'll be sure to update you here on my journey.

Next week, I'll get more in depth with why I'm deciding to leave LA. And, until next time, stay Sensational!

🤍,

Lois
